Buying Guidance – Diamond Stud Earrings
Timeless elegance with diamond studs.
What does the carat weight mean?
The size of Carat Total Weight of the pair, or CTW, will be split into half for each earring in the pair.
Example: 1ctw earrings will have 2 x 0.50 carat diamonds. The total weight of the earring pair is one carat.
What carat size should I choose?
As with any purchase in life, this really depends on personal taste, lifestyle and budget. If you want to make a statement, go for half a carat (0.50 ct) or above, on each ear.

How do I find the perfect matching pair?
It is advisable to try and buy the best quality diamonds your budget allows. However, if you have any questions please get in touch and we are happy to cater to almost any budget. Unlike an engagement ring where any imperfections are highly visible, this is less critical with the smaller diamond studs. We take great care in matching up the colour and sizes of our stud earrings. The quality We supply grading reports from the International Gemmological Institute for all stones.
Which diamond shape should I choose?
In general, the most popular shape for diamond stud earrings is the round brilliant studs. However, at Chelsea Rocks by far the most requested product are the Beauchamp Pear stud earrings. The earrings are held with 3 prong claws which reveals more diamond and shows only a minimal amount of gold. This creates the illusion of the diamonds appearing larger.
Alternatively, another option might be the Chelsea Rocks Brompton Halo studs, where the design of the outer ring of diamonds can make the overall Carat size appear larger.
